FX5 is too much filteration?

Iis it too much filteration for a 100 gallon tank?

reason why i ask this question is because i have plans for a 250-3oo gl tank for my aro and i have another 100 gallon tank i plan to use for an aquatic lizard.I don't want to buy another 404 filter and plan on using the fx5 for the hundred gallon that is currently in use.

no a FX5 should do just fine on a 100gal i have one on my 125 along with two penguin 350Bs and I also have a FX5 on my 75gal. and they work out quite nice

I'm running a Fluval 405 and an AC 50 on my 29g tank. There's no such thing as too much filtration!

I am running an FX5 and an AC110 on a 90 gal no probems here. It won't hurt a thing.

I have a FX5 on a 40 UK gallon and another on a 100 UK gallon running alongside an Eheim 2126. Don't think you'll have a problem on your tank.
