hey i know this topic is beat to death but.....i have a new fx5


and i filled the bottom with 2l biomax, second try 1l biomax top opti carb (because it was free) what shout i put in the mid and bot baskets to fill it? thanks

what weight of biomax (or how many boxes) did you use to get 2L?

I just got mine shipped to my door this afternoon. I am planning to fill two bottom baskets with biomax and may be with polish pad for the bottom basket. The top basket will be filled with pre-filter media, since I got them for free from the seller.

you get it from pond passions? and shouldnt polish pad go on the top basket?
