Hello,
I bought my first FX5 used. It is in perfect condition, very clean and only 4 months old. Anyway, I first started it up and it sounded good, the sound of air every once and awhile. But I noticed that the tubes were on the wrong nozzles, so I switched them. Now I'm getting the sound of air inside the filter. What is the most common cause of this. Also, how do I lower the water inside so I can take the top of to look at it?
Thanks,
John

Have you turned your filter off and see if it will back siphon and fill its all the way up?
On the back of the filter, next to the pump, you should see a little valve with a nipple sticking out. It is so you can stick a hose on it a drain the filter.

Thanks for the reply guys! The filter/tank is at my brothers house, im gonna head over there right now and see if it worked itself out overnight.
