I cleaned my FX5 out today and replaced the top basket's biomax with some quilt batting. It just won't start up again. I checked the impeller. The motor goes on in intervals of a couple seconds then stops it just doesn't seem to prime? Any suggestions? Thanks

Idk but when that happent to me I just cleaned it again and it worked!!!!
Also I wouldnt put the quilt thing ur talking about on the top basket. You might be clogging it up!!!

when my fishing reel gets jammed i take it apart then put it back together again and it works. maybe try that?
before you do anything else, did you open the valves back up so water could flow back into the filters and out? And did you the intake and output remain submerged the whole time during cleaning so their siphon remained?
