FX5 On A 55G?

Would a fluval fx5 be too powerful for a 55 gallon tank? I have one for my 90 gallon tank but wil be selling the 90 gallon and currently have a eheim pro on my 55. So I figured instead if I didnt sell the fx5 I could put it on the 55.

Oh ok. Do you find the fx5 to be too powerful in a 55g, creating too much current?

its not bad, and i have it open full too. i thought the same thing to before i put it on.

Yea I was thinkimg that worst case scenario I can face the out takes towards the surface.
