I haven't set this up yet. I was wondering if you guys think this will be sufficient? Only about 6 fish ranging from 7"-12"

Thanks

i prefer to over filter. i have a fx5 and ac110 on my 125g. its a little more stocked but i'd like to add another good sized hob or powerhead for movement in the tank

I feel like one should always add an ac110 if there's space on the back if they have the means. I don't believe there is such a thing as too much filtration. The FX5 is a great start.

Cool, I was thinking that myself. Good thing I have 2 AC110's sitting around from other projects. I also forgot to add I will be using 2 AC powerheads as well.

Well with that said, you should be good to go. The powerheads are a great idea and with those ac110's you will will have a ton of filtration. I also like keeping what ever filters I have going just so they are ready for something else if need be.

^ So true. With the powerheads you'd probably be fine but if the AC110's are available thrown them on, they'll keep the water moving and help you out with mech filtration.

I think the word of choice is "crispy" water?

having more than one filter on a tank will give you the ability to alternate times for cleaning too. This will help keep your BB alive and your parameters in check.
