fx5 output direction

was just wondering for those of you who use the FX5 where you have your outputs facing? are they up towards the surface of the water or down towards the bottom of the tank?

agitation for more oxygen for the fish. i have them just facing to the opposite direction of the tank.

I have mine facing up for surface agitation. My return from the wetdry is facing down.
