FX5 problem/no output pressure

I need some help with my filter. The filter is close to one year old and already problems. I cleaned out my filter about 2 weeks ago and everything was work fine then in the last 2 day i notice the output was not as strong as normal and some air bubbles were coming out also. I opened up the filter today to make sure nothing was stuck or anything. Nothing changed so i read the manuel to see what could be wrong. Suggestion was to open up the pump and clean so i just did that. Nothing looked out bad everything looked clean. Closed it up and hooked back up and still the same problem.

Now when i say the output of the water is low i mean really low, you can't see any water movement, you can put your hand in front of the output and no pressure is felt.

Please help!!!!
 
are you running polishing pads? I would try to run it without media and you'll know forsure if your problem lies in the media setup or the pump itself.
 
one tray had bio rings and the other 2 tray have scubbies so i don't think it could be media.
 
I have had similar things happen before too. It's usually one of a few things

To much media so the flow is just slow...

The impeller needs cleaned out. (not hard to do)

Sucked something into the filter and it got stuck in a hose..

Or you have air bubbles in the filter and it needs to be purged.
