FX5 PUMP HELP

hey guys ran into a problem with my fx5,long story short, i cant get the whole canister out for cleaning,so i just wanted to know if anyone knew if i just unscrew the pump to clean,will any of the water inside drain out anywere when the pump is unscrewed?thanx again

Yes if you remove the pump (4 screws) the entire filter will drain.
