Ok... I know this is beating a very dead horse but I have an issue with micro- bubbles they are not bad but they are noticeable. I received the FX5 used and it seems to run fine, there is a little noise coming from the motor unit but the flow seems good. The media buckets are as follows: Top-Fluval prefilter media / Middle- Fluval prefilter media w/ a BLUE filter pad on the bottom / Bottom-Biomax. Is the BLUE pad causing the bubbles... the tank is empty and the filter has only been on a couple of hours. Or is it something else. Thanks!!!
