I'm looking to replace all my plastic tubing with white plastic pipe... has anyone done this? I've seen some under tank shots of ppl attacthing them to pipes but never see how it looks coming into the tank and out..... Anyone got any pic or idea? SHould i save the told intake and blue it on... make my own spraybar too?

Look in my "lets see whats in your stand thread". I think it was Pacu mom. Many people have done it and there are pics of it done in my thread.

Rubber pipe connectors with jubilee clips

i believe MsMasspoly has hers plumbed in too....

What size you think? 1 inch?

Look at the first page of my "Lets see whats in your stand thread" Then pm those people as their systems have been running for quite some time id take their advice.

somthing else that works really well what i did on my tank is used 1" black poly pipe. They sell it in like 100 foot rolls at lowes and you can just use standard barbed fittings you have to heat up the pipe a little to get the fittings in but bends fairly well so that you may not have to buy all that many fittings. just make sure that you have some type of union or flex pipe where it enters the filter makes it a little better to service. I am useing 2 Fx5 filters and works great.
