I installed a new 3d background in my 125 and due to thickness my diy spraybar no longer fits. I've noticed my leds are a lot less shimmery with the decreased surface agitation and the tank looks better without a 4' black strip across the top. I dont care for the stock return, my intake is on one end and I want the flow going in one direction not 2. I also dont like the wayvit hants so low, I can glue some pvc and fix this if I cant think of anything better. I'm thinking I want the return on the opposite end of the intake and either make a 12" sprays bar or doing something with locline. Concerns about the spraybar is that it will 90 up and over the back and be unsupported on one end and I'm worry it will sag too much and look wonky. I like the locline idea better never worked with it and while I'm sure I can do it I can't completely envision it also do I need the tool? I'm also open to new ideas if you have something better please let me know.

Swap your tubing to 1" vinyl to increase.your flow. You can us a 1" hose insert x 3/4" fpt adapter, then use the mpt x locline adapter, run your locline over and into the tank. Slap a locline flow acceletor on the end to get more circulation :)

Good to know, I always assumed I needed to pvc up and over the change over to locline. Any thoughts on using a y fitting so that 1 agitates the surface and 1 aims toward the sand.

The y idea sounds a little complicated. It you want additional surface agotation, why not add a nice bubbler? It will probably look great against the backgeound. A flow acelerator will also help with surface agitation

One of these right?

I use one in my 75 and I put an airline tube and a valve in it to give it a venturi effect.

Is there a place for the airline from the factory? Do you use an air pump or just hang the tubing out of the tank and the return creates a vacuum?

Yep, thats the one, locline has a fitting to pull air in

I wound up ordering 6" of locline, flatred nozzle, and locline to mpt. Going to use pvc over the tank (trying to find black so I dont have to paint it) so if I decide I want/need the accelerator or to add a y and use 2 nozzles it will be an easy swap. Also order 1" tubing since it wasn't the easiest thing to find the last time I bought some. Thanks for the input.
