fx5 vs eheim 2250. what would you prefer?

Ok, its only a 120g tank and I'm not big on this idea of running overkill nonsense filtration. Plenty of bio media and water changes. I just don't know the specs if the eheim and couldn't find a lot on capacity and flowrate. the tank is in my bedroom, otherwise I'd do a sump. The fx5 would he find and give me the turnover rate, but just looking for some opinions on the eheim. Thanks

I have a 2250 (+ a chinese with a 2000lts/h pump) on a 120g and a fx5 (with sump) on a 180g.
Getting also a Eheim 2260 soon with a new tank that will replace the 120g..

The flow in the 2250 is really low compared to the fx5 and it has a bigger usable area for media. That´s why I say its better for bio filtration. but if you only want one filter, I believe you would be better with the fx5.

if you compare the fx5 with the 2260 however...

Great info. Thank you. Looks like the fx5 is where I'm headed on this deal.I'm no buff on eheim, but when I saw 2250 I immediately thought if the 2260. My buddy has one and its an absolute monster.
