fx5 vs. ehime pro 3

whats your guys take
the fx5 is cheaper has a higher flow rate and is rated for 100 gallons more than the pro 3

but ive herd good things about ehime so im not sure what u guys think

Eheim is my choice. The FX5 is more of a mech filter than bio, and the eheim is a bio more than a mech filter. For mech I'd prefer to use a ac110. My Pro 3 runs great, and didn't lose much gph when I added media to when it was setup without baskets or media.

I don't want to open the canister. You can look at pictures online, just google search it. There is a thread somewhere on here that has a comparison ran side by side on the two filters. I'll find a link and post it for you.

i decided im just gonna buy 2 fx5's casue there 200 a piece and the pro 3 is 400 by its self

im sure 2 fx5's beat a pro 3
