i got 2 fx5's and a emp 400 on a 150gal whats the best media to use in them

biomax in the bottom two chambers of each fx5. i think you can ditch the emp and use it to start up another tank.

seachem pond matrix is great and its very cheap.

I just switched over to seachem matrix and I'm liking it so far. I definitely recommend using media bags with it though, rather than just putting it in the baskets loose. With biomax I could just put it in loose, which was nice.
