I've bought three new FX5s off ebay. Just make sure you go with a reputable seller who has lots of positive feedback! They usually sell for about $200.

Paypal is pretty much the ONLY payment method I trust. You don't have to give out your credit card # to the seller and Paypal will usually back you up if the seller doesn't follow through with the deal.

Paypal has very good security. At times too good. I got married 4 years ago. The only way they will let me change the name on my account requires a letter from a judge!

The won't accept faxed copies of my marriage cert or new SS card, so I asked if I could close my account and re-open a new one with my new last name... nope.

Their security is pretty good.

Be careful that there are LOTS of scammers that mimic PayPal and try to trick you into giving them your account information. That is not Paypal's fault. If I wanted to scam you, I would mimic Paypal too! Just be careful that the website address you are using says www.paypal... not: www.nigerianbarasterswantyourmoneynow.paypal.

I would order one from Ebay as long as it is an established seller. In fact, I have been thinking of buying another one.
