Alright so I'm hoping to get one of these bad boys soon, bought my girlfriend an xbox 360 >.>. But I was wondering is it possible to split the in take and output to multiple tanks? I have 2 55's and a 260gallon pond I'd like to split it 4 ways one intake in each 55 and 2 in the pond same for output. This would be the sole filtration for the 55s but not the pond.

So is it possible or no? Good/decent idea or no?

not possible. no way could you match the input/output of even 2 tanks running like that. FX5s are nice filters though, great for a 55.

agreed, put it in the 55 my friend did and his water is so clean, no joke its like almost transparent and i not joking if i was thirsty i would take a drink from it

Make a sump that is hooked up to all your tank, it's been done before.

Aqua bridges are cool if you want to link up 2 tanks on one canister.

Was just hoping I could do it with an fx5. Guess Ill just have to move my tanks and get myself a fish room going cuz currently I don't have room for a sump. I got some thinking to do I guess
