FX5

I'm thinking of buying a FX5 for my tank.
What media should I use in the baskets?

It will be for my Dovii in a 240 gallon.

I think Ceramic rings in bottom 2 baskets for sure. I use several layers of polyester quilt batting in my top basket. i imagine having all 3 baskets full of ceramic rings would be fine too

I use an FX5 for my 100gal oscar tank, I have it filled with biomax ceramic rings.
dovii is going to be just as messy as an Oscar, so I wouldn't worry too much about the quilt batting as it will likely get clogged fast.

FX5 is a great filter and should do the job for you.
