I currently have 2 aquaclear 110s and a large circulation pump going on a 112 gallon tank. I want to add an FX6 filter for some added filtration due to 2 oscars that I have. Will this filter cause a huge problem with circulation? Is there a way to prevent a huge current in the tank?

I have an FX6 in my 150 with African cichlids. The outflows are pointed in either direction from the center of the tank and the current does not seem to affect the fish at all.

FX's have dual outlets, one I shoot down the back wall over the heaters. The other is aimed at the surface for agitation.

There is a valve you can turn down on the FX series and FX6 has adjustable dual flow which you can point at a wall which will diffuse flow some too. I point mine like jexnell does.

You can see on the surface the agitation, since the heaters are out till winter I aimed the back one at the surface as well.
