Just got a used fx6, had it running for a couple weeks and did maintenance. Set up I got it with was all bio media on the bottom tray. Two bio foams on the middle tray. Bio media and a polishing pad on top of that for the top tray. Just rinsed out the sponges and bio foams with tank water and didnt touch the bio media at all, since I just got the filter. I did some changes after maintenance. Would it be ok to put Purigen with a bio foam on top of it for bottom canister. Middle tray all bio media. Top tray is bio media with a polishing foam on top? I already got it up and running and it seems to be fine.
