Hi all!
Here's the process I go through when I disconnect my FX6 for cleaning, and I'd like some feedback on it.
1) Close the intake valve
2) wait 10-20 secs
3) close the output valve
4) unplug the unit
5) Slowly release the intake coupling
6) release the output coupling
I've noticed (pretty much since I started using them) that when I get to #5, there is always a very strong sucking noise - I'm presuming that the excavation of the water when the input valve is closed has created a bit of a vacuum and that is causing that, am I correct?
Also, I've noticed that quite often between cleanings, I'll hear the unit "sucking" and "surging" - normal? Or maybe I don't have my filtration correct?
(I'm not talking the daily on/off cycle)
Thanks!
