I came down this morning to these black pellets and what looks like gold dust scattered around my tank. I have two fx6 filters and they both seem to be acting normally but I can't think of anywhere else it would have come from. Any help is appreciated!
That must be it. It's only k2 media in the canisters but I do have a internal filter running right now with some phosphate remover. I guess the bag must have ripped somehow.
