I am setting up some fx6 canisters and the manual says maximum intake length is 6.5 feet or 2 meters. What are the risks of I want it to be longer than that
The risk is less flow and more importantly to much back pressure. But i would just test it first outside with the length and head heights of the in and out you plan to use and see if the flow seems much different. And test it with a full media load as well.
