I would like to build an inline heater for my 125 gallon to clean up the inside of the tank a bit. I currently have 2 500w submersible heaters with an Inkbird bluetooth controller in the tank. Would one of those be enough to use as the sole heater inline? Or would I have to build 2 inline heaters?

That size tank, unless your house gets really cold I'd say 500w should be fine.
