Fx6 question

Guys does the bio media need to be in a media bag or can I just let it sit in the tray ?

Unless the fx6 is unlike most canister filters, no. Putting media in a bag just makes it 1000 times easier when its time to clean

I use seachem matrix biomedia in all of my fx5s..it has smaller pieces in it and ive never used media bags...no problems
