I cant seem to find any pool filter sand around here but i did manage to find All Purpose Sakrete Sand. Has anyone here used this sand before? Is it at all like play sand or is it more of a paving sand?

from what i can tell it depends, i looked on the website for the sakrete and it showed the sand and said its Polymeric, which means its a polymer make up, unlike the pool filter kind which from my experience tends to be silica based..im not a super genius but it seems to be completely of a different make up..if it were me i would honestly wait it out for the pool filter sand. where all have you looked around your area for it?
I went around to all the hardware stores looking for paving sand since it has somewhat bigger grains of sand than the pool filter sand. There is a pool shop about 16 miles from where i live but theres no way of me actually getting there. Ordering it off the interwebs is kind of out of the question since of the shipping prices. So yeah i guess waiting is all i could do or just change the stock i was planning on going with.
im too lazy to make a new thread. Would you guys know where i could get the cheapest AC110 shipped to me? On ebay they are about 65$ shipped. Do they get cheaper than that? Also iv tried the marketplace on this website but no results.
