I've been running all over to differnt pet shops buying what ever tahitian moon sand they had for my 300gl. I stopped at superpetz and they have a differnt brand of black sand. It was like 2.69 for 5lbs with a superpetz card that you can get at the register for free. I think the tahitian moon sand is running like 4$ a 5lb and about 19$ for 20lb bag at the other pet stores.
There are differnces I noticed
A the superpetz brand of black sand is cleaner and easier to wash than the tahitian moon sand
b it's a little more dull. Not really dull but not shiney like tahitian moon.
