i was at ocean blue last night and brian had some red tail cat/ paroon cat hybrids! they look like baby red tail cats (1.5-2") but no red. they had grey bodies and looked really cute spinning around gobbling up tubifex. i think $12 or something per fish.
just something interesting you socal guys might be up for. i don't have space for those kinds of monsters so i had to pass.

Thanks for the post. I went there this evenning to pick up 2 delhezi (2"), 1 Endi 2.5", 2 angelfish. The bichirs were small but very healthy and good looking color pattern. For the price Ocean Blue is charging it's very good.

whats the deal with the red tail/ pangasis hybrids? I saw these at a lfs near me as well. Anybody know on the size they get? or what they look like when they are older?

might have to pickup a few, they look like red tail cats, but there as active and fast swimming as the pangasius usually are hah
