What do you guys think, injury or something else?
Constant water drip.
7 G. Brasiliensis
1 chocolate
1 liberifer
5 flagtail portholes
2 Orinocodoras eigenmanni
220g w/ 2 AC110 and a Hydro Pro 150
Ph, high Ph, nitrate
This is not good. Noticed the same thing on my big male. Looks like what the one O. eigenmanni had. There's no treatment and I'm not sure about surgery on these guys.
Looks like anchor worm… battled this for yrs with a cple tinfoils and other fish. Whatever it is it seems to get worse/come back in higher water temps i.e. summer. I treat with dimilin. I get it off ebay. Ive had it “curbed” for yrs at a time and then have it come back ?. Never lost a fish from it but it is unsightly and annoying to deal with. Ive pulled fish out and tried to tweezer it out then use betadine solution. No luck there. Only thing ive found to make it go away for up to a year is the dimilin. Odd tho i run autodrip aswell. About the only “health issue” ive had in 10+ yrs… most always in summer as well. Lmk if u find anything to rid it more permanently lol
