Got a pair of these guys the other day, they got some great color for being about 2 inch. Got them in the 30 gallon right now, will they be okay in there until the about get to 5 inch? I was told they'd be okay just making sure, I was also told a 30 was fine to grow out threadfins to 5 inch but mine constantly showed stress behavior and one died, came on here and was told it was probably lack of space so I don't want this to happen again.

I can put em in the divided 70 at any time but they'll slightly be at risk from the larger fish on the other side

personally I don't think a 30 will be sufficient to get them to 5" but you might be able to get away with it. and looking good! beautiful fish when full grown

Even another inch or 2 would put them in a better situation then putting em right into the divided 70. My 8-9 inch red wolf would snap em up if they went on the wrong side of the barrier

Didn't include this in my first reply and it won't let me edit,

Thanks these guys looked so good and I never see regular geo around here only gymno had to snag em. They're holding their own just fine, I hope to get at least another inch on em before moving to the 70, they are thicker bodied then most other geos I've seen. Can't wait for these guys to be big!! Going to look great sifting my 6x3x2.5
