Yes it does, but without shows more of the true color. It's just that the camera is such a piece that the shutter speed is so slow without the flash. The fish has to be absolutely still
that gravel and other types like it. is suppose to bring out more color in our FH's. i know several guys on here go that route. and from looking at the fish, it looks awesome.
im kinda with badass, i personally dont like the gravel but the
FH this guy has is proof that it is a factor. nice FH man!!! id say that flash definatly works good to bring out the color
Thanks guys for the comments. You guys and your gravel issues
Naw the colored rock does help to bring out color with Flowerhorn not the other way around. Just some FYI too I have kept fish for so long now, so many tanks, and currently have so many. After so long the natural look begins to wear on you. Then if you get into the FH keeping these fish actually give you an opportunity to use such outlandish gravel, pull it off, and look good while you are doing it. The same can NOT be said for very many other types of fish! Currently though I have many natural tanks too
With this GM though I wanted to complement his redness. So I went with the Super Man look Red & Blue
Glad ya guys liked the fish, but too bad we always get pulled off topic and speak on gravel again
I say he will have more real red scales build up later too. Like those red scales will start to look like rose petals when he's older as an older adult.. This guys still a young adult..
