GAH! My drunken sister over fed my fish...

Last night I let my sister and her friend come over, they drank all my booze!

While I went to bed cause I have a life (LOL) they stayed up all night drinking my beer and eating my food... I normally don't mind. She is my sister and I love her...

Until I wake up to find about FOUR handfuls (big ones too) of floating fish pellets bloated and beginning to sink in my 45column tank... :WTF: On the even worse side of it, I dont feed my fish those pellets!! I only have them incase something goes wrong, I shouldnt have even had them in the house!!! They are bright orange, and smelly.

Now I have bloated fish, orange dingy water (which was once very crispy), and a huge mess to clean up!

I have a rena xp2, can this food overflow hurt it? or should I open it up and check it out. I hate opening that damn thing unless I HAVE to for cleaning and checking media.

GAH! I have learned my lesson, HIDE THE FISH FOOD!! LOL

Oh man sorry to hear that.. the first thing people wanna do when they come in my house is feed my fish; so I couldnt imagine what people would do if I were to throw a party or something lol!!

Lol.. I know.. I had to laugh.. but then when I asked her, she was like.. I DIDN'T DO IT... and her friend didn't fess up either... I think it was her friend.

I was like, well you two were the only ones out here... and I doubt a ghost came in and did it. LOL.

Oh well.. lesson learned! haha.

Hahaha! Ouch, sorry to hear that. I would just check your filter, better safe then sorry!! & Maybe have a fasting day for your fishies, and definitely hide the fish food whenever anyone non-sober person is around. lol

Yea I think I am going to check the filter.. those things are a pain though... and the fish wont be fed for a day or so, I will keep my eyes on them... lol.. Thanks!

Just woke up and this sure had me in stitches!

Sorry, can't help, but I would clean out the tank and then see if the filter can still keep the water clean. Good luck and great stock btw!

Lol.. yea right... she has no job... LOL... She just comes over and drinks it all. she just turned 21 and graduated "beauty school"... so she just drinks all the time. at my wallets expense... lol. oh well, What I do for my sister.. shes such a punk. lol.
