gallon stocking advice

Hello so my little brother is showing interest in my bigger tanks and would like to setup a 10g planted tank with my help I dont really mess with nano fish but he has picked out fish he likes and I want to run it through other members so...
1-german ram
6-10 chili rasbora
10 cherry shrimp he would like to breed these
so what do you think?

Personally I’d pass on the ram or most cichlids for that size tank. Good chance it will eat the rasboras and German rams tend to not be very hardy.
I’d sooner go for a smaller labyrinth fish like a betta or honey gourami (not dwarf gouramis, they are only good at dying).
