Can an alligator gar and Arowana be kept together in a tank of 125-180G size?

Thanks in advance!

Michael

For how long? Sure, as long as they are the same size, you'll be okay, but pretty soon, it's gonna be tight quarters. Keep a tight-fitting, heavy lid on the tank. One is likely to spook the other, causing it to jump. This would work for about eight months to a year if both are juveniles (three or four inches) right now. After that, you're going to need a pond, and I don't know any tankmates for a full-grown alligator gar. The aro would have to move eventually.

do a florida/ aro combo then you could do it for life...gators just get to big for most to house properly...and they can eat just about anything
