Gar and Motoro

Hey guys , wasnt sure where to post this in so im posting it here...
So the question , can i keep my Motoro with Gars? My stingray tank looks empty with just one ray. Wanted to know before i sentenced my Motoro/Gar to death without knowing it.

i think he will be fine, because stingrays are most of the time at the bottom of the tank and gars are usually at the top.

a combo like this where the the fish are almost exclusively bottom dwellers, and the other top-water, you should be good as gold.

just make sure the gar isnt insanely smaller than the ray, or he just might make an attempt at making it a snack.

I am growing out a 5" gar with some 3" baby motoro rays in a 50g tank and they get along well. Sometimes the gar will go to the bottom and snatch up black worms from the gravel or even from on top of the rays. No problems, all is peaceful.

i think the majority of ppl either have an aro or gar with a ray

this combo can work. not always but it can.
*note* there is a picture on here of a motoro with a gar pinned against the glass trying to eat it!
