Gar ate bichir with pics

My week is not going well. Today I came home to a dead baby gar and a missing bichir. It didn't take long to figure out what happened.

The gar died because his stomach ruptured. These pics are after I cut the gar open and removed the bichir. I should have stated that.

I still have 6 babies and 4 adults left

The opposite happened to me... platinum endli had my platinum florida gar 40% down it's throat. If I had found them 5 mins later.. I would have lost both fish... The bichir made it but my gar died.
