Gar & Bowfin Subforum Merge - Discussion

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
doesn't matter if you were thinking freshwater or marine...the argument you were making in terms of reviewing NAmerican ancient fishes from an evolutionary standpoint is much more complex than that. like Richard said, no review (accurate or otherwise) is necessarily needed for arguing the case of this particular merger as it's essentially sister groups of fishes, not much to do with which one is older, etc etc.

one could add or drop hagfishes and lampreys based on jaws and bony skeletons as well...so you see that could go on and on.--

Sorry about the derail there; it was more in regards to bobtan's statement. I'll just leave it be since it doesn't really pertain to the goal of this thread.

Hopefully. ;/

hopefully this happens soon now that the server migration is done? seems annoying ridiculous that it should take much longer since it's essentially adding 8-9 characters to the subforum name...

Did they even migrate the server? I didn't notice any outages, and I'm on here a weird times on a frequent basis; I have noticed that load times have been a bit slow here and there over the past few days, though. Regardless of the migration status, it is a simple change as you stated, so there really shouldn't be any holdup on making the change.

migration is and has been going on for the past 3 weeeks...:) this is still on the to-do-list, fear not:)
