Gar broken back???

My 2’ longnose gar has a bent back, i was worried that a peacock bass that I recently got was picking on him bcuz the gar has stopped eating about 3 weeks ago, now I came down and his back looked crooked, will he be ok? I also added driftwood could that have done it? Any replies would be nice

Could be from trauma due to the driftwood. Won’t correct itself usually. Give it some tome to mellow out and hope it resumes feeding.

Watch ur pbass for continued aggression if so then will need to separate.

Seen gars with bent backs and do fine if they start to feed and act normal again.

The bent will be there.....yes it can cont to swim and act normally if it starts to eat again.
