hey guys, was thinking of doing up a gar faq, and thought it would be a good idea to get your input on some questions that you feel are frequently asked. i'll get the ball rolling..

1) what gar do i have
2) how big does my gar get
3) what should i feed my gar
4) how often should i feed my gar
5) what tankmates can i keep with my gar
6) what sized tank do i need for my gar

Where do Gars prefer?

what is a good general maintenance schedule for gars...

- water change frequency
- water change volume
- temperature

would likely need to be divided up by some species or groups of species as well as age groups.

also, and i can eventually help out with this (i am sure others can too), i think many of the pinned topics can be combined into one "mega-thread" which would include flow chart, tank sizes, tankmates, species ID, reference sites, etc. this way we don't have 12 pinned topics that everyone will skip over and post their own generic thread asking the same questions over and over and over again.--
