im in!!!! name the time and place, if i dont work ill be there!

I have been doing some searching online searching, and I emailed the PA Fish Commission for some advice and here's some info I got from the Fish Commission:

The best population of longnose gar in the region can be found on the lower Allegheny River. Angers are reporting catching the gar on a regular basis in this area. Just be careful because there are spotted gar in this area and they are still protected. Just release the spotted gar if you do happen to land one.

A nice population of longnose gar has also been reported in the Ohio River in the Neville Island area.

The previously mentioned information means that there is a good chance that there should be a decent amount of longnose gar present in this section of river:

The yellow arrow and yellow dot indicate where we would launch the boat (if we have access to a boat). I should be able to get us a boat.

We would be between Lock/Dam 5 and Lock/Dam 6 of the Allegheny River.

I will try to get more detailed info from the Fish Commission on this section of the river.
