GAR has split fins???

i brought home a 10inch long nose gar yesturday and i noticed that he has split fins not sure if thats normal or if its a problem anyone know anything about this?

You really need to be more specific. How deep is the cut? Does it look genetic or injured?

no it doesn't look serious just on the bottom fins they have to like stable them selves when they swim are like split in 2 all the way up... it does not look like there decaying

no like a solid fin but its just split down the middle
