Gar ID help? LFS said spotted gar

So after reading through some of these other gar posts I've started to question my own gar that I acquired not too long ago. Was told spotted gar by LFS he's about 8 inches now maybe.

Sorry for the phone pics. It's all I've got and ignore the partial plant that someone uprooted that I haven't fixed yet. lol

Spotted gar are super rare in the hobby. The only sure way to get a spotted gar would be to catch one where there are no Florida gar
