gar ID please

It's snout's doesn't seem thick enough to be an atract. but it looks really thick in body-size. Perhaps, it's just a fat shortnose gar? Or maybe a tropical gar?

hey guys, i have this crazy idea where those who know the ID of the gar absolutely refuse to say what it is until someone new to the sub-forum gives a good enough attempt @ ID'ing it for him/herself with a matching reasoning for their choice of ID...what'd you think?
my best guess is a young alligator gar because of the short wide snout, and the stocky body. also from what i can see, the pattern resembles YOY gator gars ive seen in pics. i could be far off though

Don't alligator gars have a much more rounder snout rather than a tipped snout like the one shown above?
looks like a chubby florida would say tropical but pattern and colors are of a tropical..so i would say big florida
