this is my gar i brought him about a month back he was skinny when i brought him he was the same size for a bout 3 months back in the lfs. he does not eat much either

looks like his tounge is dislocated... the lump along his throat shouldn't be there.

he is stunted due to underfeed for a long time.

so he will not grow i got him only a month ago he was stuck in a 10 gallon tank it seems the previous owner only fed him guppies

he will grow again eventually, but he might not get anywhere near as big as other gator would get. just try to feed him a lot for now, throw in feeder minnows that you can get at the bait shop and keep them available at all time so he can eat whenever he want.

thanks for the info everyone i will try my very best to keep him healthy he eats shrimp pieces for now i will try to get him to eat pellets
