is there any chance it's a alligator gar? becasue I dont have a tank/pond big enough to keep a full grown alligator gar

The snout looks to narrow and I can also tell from the eye it's not a Gator. If possible take a pic of the snout.

it is the only pic I have of it, im going to pick it up in a couple hours. ill see if the owner has anymore pics he can send

To me, it looks like a spotted.
Edit: looks like a true spotted and not a Florida.
