Hi everyone, I was just wondering if I could get some advice. I have a 14 inch redtail shovelnose hybrid in a 125 gallon aquarium temporarily along with a 7 inch bullseye catfish. The tank is equipped with 280 gallons worth of over the back filtration. I was looking to get a tankmate for these two fish and I thought maybe a gar would be a good choice since they are upper water dwellers. Does anyone have any ideas as to a type of gar that would go well with both these catfish? I looked around a little on the internet and think that a mosaic gar would be ok with them. What do you guys think? And also, if anyone out there who is near Connecticut and has at least a 7 inch( so it won't get eaten by the redtail hybrid) gar they would be willing to part with, send me an email at AJDiaz36FD@sbcglobal.net with a price and any other information. Thanks

where in ct are you i have a Florida spotted gar that 10"-12'" that is being bullied by its tank mate would like to give him a more friendly home i live in Southbury CT if you are interested.

I have 3 Gars for sale. All florida Gars, they are respectively 15 inches,12 inches, and 10 inches. They all eat pellets and will eat silver sides and other things directly from your hand and they like to be pet. Pick up only though. Let me know with a PM if your interested and we can discuss a price.
