hey everyone, checked out a lfs (chain-store) today to see if there were any interesting overlooked specimens and I saw a totally neglected florida gar ::sigh::. It's probably around 8-10 inches long and is being kept in a 20 gallon high tank...its snout is turned totally upwards and parts have broken and seperated off...I really, really dont need anymore gars but I am tempted to pick him up and keep him in a 55 till i move and get a 240+. Only problem is tankmates...currently he would be housed with a very angry wallago leerii (helicopter cat) of similar size and eventually i would have to toss him in with my larger spotted in the large tank...feedback anyone?
