i recently purchased an aquarium and started it up. once all the levels were correct and the tank had cycled with tiger barbs i purchased a clown knife and a gar pike. i have had them for about 3 days now and the gar still has not eaten to my knowledge but the clown has eaten at least 8 guppies. any suggestions?

also, keep an eye on the composition/color of the feces, make sure it is not possible internal parasites
