thanks, appreciate it! yes i really had to get myself another. you may recall i had had a bad time w that tank due to lack of preparation, so i cleared the stock, and messed ard w some other fish. i sold the aro to a friend who used to own a lfs. but now that everything is in order, decided to go back to gar and primitive fish:D it's still a 120 but cycled, stable and done step by step properly. also have a large pond for back up and in the process of building another. i got 2 of them but for some reason one died. they were in a 4x1.5x1.5 w no tankmates. i think there was aggression bw the two as i fed them at least 4 times a day w perfect water. im only feeding this guy twice per day and he's doing very well.

glad to hear this one is doing well. you may recall from previous african arow threads (and the primitive fishes/ AP capsule) that young african arows almost never get along with each other...of all the specimens i have kept, they have always fought if kept together. they do ok when there is a divider though.

with this one i would just make sure he's getting enough food if he's in the larger tank. looks good, and glad to hear the 120g is in good shape. looking forward to updates on the gars and the african bonytongue--
