so I looked up what gars can eat. I found they prey on certain fish in the wild. One of those fish being catfish. I was wondering would I be able to feed my Florida gar fillet catfish? And are silversides good for them? Thanks everyone

You can get them to eat cut fish, yes. Mine eat silversides, cut fish, cut shrimp, freeze dried redshrimp/krill, pellets, etc.
I used to feed mine fish I caught all the time. Bluegill, perch, bass, carp, catfish anything. Just fillet it and feed it
Well he’s actually blind like no eye balls so sadly he’s got all the shad he can get but he does like to hang out in my floating water sprite.
